City of Women

An international festival of contemporary arts, focusing on art and culture by women as expressed in the performing arts, the visual arts, literature, film and video. With this project we want to shake the stereotypical role of women and improve the status of women in the field of the arts. City of Women is organised by the Association for the Promotion of Women in Culture - City of Women, in coproduction with Cankarjev dom Ljubljana. Held since 1995 in Ljubljana.
